Your agreement is between you and Nicaragua Fishing Lodge S.A. References to ‘the Company’, ‘we’, ‘us’, and ‘our’ in these terms and conditions apply also to The Rama Garden Fishing Lodge. References to ‘you’ in these terms and conditions are to you, as the person making the booking and, where applicable, to every member of your party. We are incorporated under the laws of Nicaragua.

The person making the booking accepts the contract on behalf of all members of your party and is responsible for making sure they accept the contract. We cannot accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18.
We reserve the right to cancel any online booking that we reasonably believe breaches our terms and conditions of booking. If we do not receive a deposit, your booking will be cancelled.

Prices are subject to change without notice. However, your price is guaranteed once you receive a booking confirmation. For the avoidance of doubt, prices do not include any incidental charges, which you may incur during your stay. Such charges will be payable by you on your departure and, in the event that you fail to pay any such incidental charges, it is a condition of your contract with us that you irrevocably authorise us to debit your credit or debit card for the amount of any shortfall.

Availability of rooms at the rates shown online may be limited and/or restricted to certain periods.


Our prices are inclusive and quoted in Us dolars and are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate. Payments can be made by online bank transfer,

All offers of accommodation are subject to availability, and no accommodation can be reserved until the appropriate deposit has been paid.

The deposit of a minimum of 10% (not refundable).

When you book you must pay the applicable deposit of 10% within 7 days of provisional booking, if we do not receive payment, your booking will be cancelled.

Reservations must be payd full 60 days before your arrival or more by Bank Transfer

Non-payment of the balance of the booking on or before the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the Client and any deposit payments made shall not be refunded.

For bookings made less than 6 weeks before the commencement of the rental, the total rental fee is payable at the time of booking.

We are not responsible of cancellations due to weather conditions. We recommend that your purchase travel insurance to protect your trip.

Cancelling Your Booking

Any cancellation made by the Client for whatever reason must be in writing.If you have to cancel your holiday, we reserve the right, unless we can re-let the accommodation, to obtain rental in full (you are subject by law to pay the full rental if the vacancy cannot be re-let). It would be worthwhile for you to take out insurance.

Telephone us immediately if you have to cancel your booking. We have the right to refuse to refund your deposit, however, as standard practise; deposits are refunded to guests cancelling over 8 weeks from their arrival date.

If you cancel within 8 weeks of your booking date, your deposit will not be refunded unless the space can be refilled.

Nicaragua Fishing Lodge S.A strongly recommends that the Client takes out insurance against cancellation.

Cancellations or Changes by the Owner

The Owners do not expect to have to make any changes to your booking. However, sometimes problems happen and bookings have to be changed or cancelled or mistakes in brochures or other details corrected. The owner has the right to do this. If we do, we will contact you (by phone if reasonably possible in the case of a significant change or cancellation, we will let you know about minor changes by email) as soon as is reasonably practical. We will explain what has happened and let you know about the cancellation or change.

In the event of cancellation of any booking by the proprietors, their liability will be limited to a refund of any monies paid.

Weather Conditions:

When you are booking your trip with us you compromise to accept that weather can change dramatically in a very short period of time. We are in the jungle. Any fishing day that you can´t proceed with your activity is not refunded. For us the most important is your safety and no refunds can be done because of weather conditions. Fishing on stormy days is forbidden for your safety.

Injuries and Health problems:

We encourage to Book Global Rescue Services.  Fortunately incidents are rare, but getting injured or becoming ill in a remote fishing location can be both serious and costly matter.

Global Rescue provides worldwide advisory, field rescue and evacuation services. Members can choose to be protected against both medical and security emergencies.

Global Rescue will arrange and pay for a field rescue from the member’s point of illness or injury and evacuate them to their home hospital of choice.

In addition, Global Rescue’s team of paramedics and physicians, supported by Johns Hopkins Medicine, the top-ranked hospital in the U.S., is on hand to provide 24-hour medical advice wherever you are in the world.

In complex cases requiring hospitalization overseas, Global Rescue paramedics are often deployed to provide bedside medical assistance for our members.

Global Rescue is recognized as the only provider that truly meets the needs of travelling sportsmen and is the proud partner of many of the fishing industry’s agents and lodge operators.

We are not responsible of injuries and illnesses caused during your stay. Once you are arriving to our Lodge every traveler must full fill a legal agreement skipping any responsibility towards us.

Checking In

Check in time is between 1pm and 5pm. If you do arrive before this time, you are welcome to fish or just relax in the surroundings until your accommodation is ready.

Unreasonable Behaviour

We ask all guests, group bookings in particular, to be respectful to other guests during their stay. We have the right to refuse to hand over accommodation if the unreasonable behaviour of anyone in your party is likely to cause offence to other guests or to members of staff. We reserve the right to terminate a holiday after the keys have been handed over, if the unreasonable behaviour of anyone in your party is likely to impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests or members of staff. In these circumstances, no refund will be given.

Damage to Accommodation

You are liable to The Rama Garden Fishing Lodge for any damage caused in the accommodation during the period of hire.

Your Pet

We allow pets in our lodge, that you must tell us that you bringing a pet when you make your booking. Pets must not be left unattended in accommodation or elsewhere, and must be exercised on a lead and in the charge of an adult.


Children under the age of 5 can stay free of charge at our hotel, when sharing a room with two paying adults where a suitable room is available. Children from the ages of 5 to 16 will be charged a supplement.
